The Fall

Artwork commissioned by my good friend Atila Velo. He asked me to create a dystopian landscape, strongly inspired by the mood and lyrics of Ministry's song "The Fall".

This artwork was commissioned by my good friend Atila Velo.
He asked me to create a dystopian landscape, strongly inspired by the mood and lyrics of Ministry's song "The Fall".

A very immersive work to do, resulting in a 1,50 meters wide high-quality print, to bring some dark poetry to Atila's walls.

Enjoy some production steps below:
Some tone sketches, trying to figure out how the main shapes would fit together in the composition
Line art
Defining values
Adding colours and some details
Making some small changes, adding few more details, and there it is: the final piece
And here's a special video, created by Mr. Atila Velo, presenting a tour through the artwork, accompanied by the song that started it all.
